CMIS (Critical Medical Information Store) is a Clinical Program consisting of Three areas.
- Viewing of CMIS data (Retrieval)
- Keying in ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction) information. (Submission)
- Keying in Medical Alerts (Submission)
Viewing CMIS data
A patient can already have CMIS information keyed in from previous clinic visits, but as a Doctor and Staff you can view CMIS information by selecting Allergy/Alert pop up and “View CMIS” Button.

The Information is fetched for users with Id Type “NRIC (Pink) , “NRIC (Blue)”, “FIN” and “Passport”. Please note if your User has Type “Other” etc the data will not be loaded even if the ID number is correct.

The values are retrieved live. In case there is a ADR or Alert that is not in CMS but visible in CMIS, user will have to add the line manually – as CMS does not Sync Back from CMIS.
It will be the users responsibility to add the values to CMS.
Inputting in ADR
In “Allergy/ADR Information” Tab a user can Select the option to key in an ADR. The Drug list is of the CMIS drug list. This data will be synced to CMIS when keyed in.

here- “DRUG / ALLERGY TO” is the Suspected Drug but you can key in “ADDITIONAL DRUGS” if they are Concomitant.
User will need to Key in all mandatory information such as the reaction, The information source and who keyed in this information, what is the probability of the Drug causing the effect etc..
Inputting in Medical Alert
In Clinic Alert Information tab there is a option for Medical alerts, these are selected by the Government and will be updated time to time. Keying in the alert will be synced to CMIS and deleting/inactivating such alert will also remove the value from CMIS.

Note: if you Select Administrator Type Doctor, you will only have to key in Doctor’s name from the drop-down list.
