Manual Claim for CHAS
If CHAS claim is Automated, in Manual Claims section – each line will be submitted before day is completed as long as visit is completed.
If CHAS claim is not Automatic or rejected or needs a manual action you can go ahead and submit in the web portal then come back to CMS to update the claim in Claims> MHCP/CHAS (for dental clinics Dental CHAS)

Search for the claim that you need to Manually submit using the Date range and Status needed. Select Edit for the
line.


Edit Claims section on top will expand with the line information,Use the “Claim Status Update” section and update the Status to “Submitted” and for the Claim Ref No Enter the Ref No provided by the Portal. Ensure when Submitting Claim to provide the case number or ref No provided from system, this ensure when the status is Updated to Approved or any other status it will be reflected in CMS as well.
