Adding Vaccine to Patient / Patient Vaccination management
When your adding vaccine for patient there will be 3 areas where you will have vaccine visibility
- Adding vaccine in Patient Profile
- Adding vaccine in Consult by Doctor
- Adding vaccine in Post Consult by Nurse/Clinic staff.
When adding a vaccine you will be adding not only vaccine and dosage you will also need to add route of administration, body site of administration and who administered the vaccines.
This will be a pop up to avoid over crowding the consultation flow.
If your clinic is linked with NEHR it will also trigger a update during visit completion if Vaccine is administered in clinic.
1. Adding vaccine in Patient Profile
In Patient Profile/Patient Particulars if you are adding past vaccinations or editing vaccines please take note how the vaccine section will look like.
NOTE: if a Vaccine is added in a Visit upon completion of visit it will be added to this section.Do not add manually then.
Add a new vaccine by selecting “+Add” under Vaccine Certificates section.

Fill in all mandatory fields

NOTE: “Not Given” check box is for vaccine history updates, therefore DO NOT UNCHECK/UNMARK it if the vaccine wasn’t administered in Clinic.

Print Vaccination certificate by selecting vaccine .

Print Variating vaccine certificate templates by Print Drop down option

– Edit vaccine by selecting Pencil Icon

– Delete vaccine by selecting Trash Icon.

2. Adding Vaccine in Consultation Flow
As a Doctor when you add a vaccine in consultation you will see a Injection icon on the Vaccine line which will be marked in Red highlight to indicate something needs to be filled.

When selecting the icon you will get a pop up to fill the required information

Only when the mandatory fields are filled will they allow for Doctor to select “Complete (F4)”
3. Adding vaccine in Post Consultation Flow
A Clinic staff can also add a vaccine , and if the vaccine is administered by a Nurse they should update Administer and Administer ID accordingly by selecting the Icon at the end of the vaccine line.

they will also need to fill all mandatory fields before they can save the details.

Next dose details are not Mandatory.
