Adding Medical Coverage for visit

Medical coverages are added in a 2-step process.
- Add to Patient then,
- Add/Utilize to Visit.
Adding Coverage to Patient
You can add coverage in 2 places.
1. During Patient Registration process
2. Via Patient Profile
1. Patient Registration
During registration process there is a section for medical coverage and add options.
2. Patient Profile/Particulars
- Go to Patient Profile
- Medical coverages Tab

- +Add coverage /+Add/Update

- Fill in line details.
– Company can be any CHAS/Medisave/Insurance/Corporate company/Coverage.
– Plan will be the allowance under each company.
– Policy Number for CHAS and Medisave can be patient ID
– Under Insurance – Policy No
– Under Corporate – Emp ID
-Start and End date of Plan eligibility
-Cost center – is set up for Corporates - Close/Done
- Save
Adding Coverage to Visit
Adding to patient is only done in patient particulars but for a visit you can add it in 3 stages of a visit.
- During registration
If the patient has the coverage added already it will be available to add during registration. It is always good to add coverage upon registration.
- Using Actions button in patient registry page
Actions >Update coverage>Select priority and save.

During Consult/Post consult
Click to Assign>Select priority and save.

Please note when adding stages consult and post consult, price changes will be reset hence be mindful to check what was the changes before adding the coverage and you can reset accordingly.
