Allergy and ADR : Allergy Input and Viewing

ALLERGY and ALERT

To add an Allergy or Alert the Doctor can now select Manage Allergy/Alert option on top of screen.

The Pop Up will have two tabs

1. Allergy/ADR Information

2. Clinical alert Information

ALLERGY

1. No Allergies for patient

-In Allergy/ADR Information Tab.

-Select Add

-Alert Type : Allergy

  • Allergy Type: Other 
  • Drug/Allergy to: NKDA (No Known Drug Allergies)

2. Has Allergies

Allergies can be added for 

  • Drug (Specific Drug/Name starting with/Name Containing)
    The Drug/Allergy To will be visible via Drug Groups in the system to select from Drop down.
    This will automatically Mark Drug allergy Indicator as Yes.
  • Allergy Group
    The Drug/Allergy To will be visible via all available Drugs in the system to select from Drop down.
    This will automatically Mark Drug allergy Indicator as Yes.
  • Food
  • Other

You can now additionally key in the reactions the patient when the allergy is triggered. 

Reaction Information

  • Includes the Reaction itself select from drop down

  • Drug allergy Indicators 

This has three options Yes, No and Uncertain it will be greyed out from selection and auto select accordingly.

How the reactions where documented.

e.g. If Mother tells the Childs reaction, then select Patient family members.

  • The Reaction outcome

which is the outcome that occurs when the allergy is triggered. To be selected from drop down. Allowed to select Multiple.

  • Drug Probability

Based on the occurrence of reactions you can select from drop down.

Therefore, you can select the values that needs to be filled before saving. Once you press Save the values will be visible on the top of your screen as Drug Allergies. You can view the values by selecting expand button for viewing of reactions.
